2015-16 (senior): Started all 32 games ... Averaged 10.3 points and 4.5 rebounds ... Set the senior season record for 3-pointers made with 74... Recorded 13 points at Wake Forest... Had 15 points at Miami... Recorded 15 points, 4 rebounds vs. Duke... Scored 22 points and tied a career-high with eight made field goals on a career-high 20 attempts at North Carolina... Recorded 16 points and had four 3-pointers at Virginia... Tallied 14 points against NC State... Scored 16 points and four rebounds vs. Louisville... Had 13 points and tied a career-high with four steals vs. BC ... Went 4-of-4 from outside the arc versus Furman... Had five 3-pointers versus Mount St. Mary’s on 5-of-7 from outside... Scored career-high 23 points and tied Cassell Coliseium record with six made 3-pointers vs. Coppin State... Had 13 points and four rebounds... Scored 13 points and had eight rebounds at Penn State... 2014-15 (junior): Appeared in 31 games with 16 starts… Averaged 6.2 points, 5.5 rebounds and 1.6 assists… Knocked down the game-winning jumper with one second left to help the Hokies defeat NC State (for the first time in program history) in the first round of the ACC Tournament… Had 16 points and 10 rebounds versus ETSU… Knocked down 19 points against No. 20 Florida State… Tallied 12 points versus Wake Forest and followed up with 13 points against No. 4 Notre Dame… One point shy of a double-double against No. 23 Syracuse with 14 rebounds and nine points… Had five or more rebounds 13 times during the season.

2013-14 (sophomore): Appeared in all 30 games with 27 starts… Recorded her first career double-double against Howard with 11 points and 11 rebounds… Followed that up with second career double-double against Old Dominion with 10 points and 10 rebounds in just 18 minutes of play, becoming just the third Hokie since 2000 to record a double-double in les than 20 minutes... Tallied 10 points, six rebounds and three assists against Florida… Recorded eight points, eight rebounds, three assists and three blocks versus Bucknell… Tallied 12 rebounds, four points and four assists at Hofstra… Had 12 rebounds and eight points at Indiana in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge... Posted 14 points and five rebounds against Michigan State and followed that up with 11 points, six rebounds and two steals versus USC Upstate... Notched seven points, three rebounds and two assists at Boston College… Had third double-double of the season with 11 points and 10 rebounds in an overtime win against Boston College... Tallied a season-high 17 points at Wake Forest, connecting on 7-of-11 from the field... Dropped in 14 points at Virginia... Posted 10 points and nine rebounds versus Clemson… Posted seven points and five rebounds against Clemson in the ACC Tournament.

2012-13 (freshman): Played in 21 games for the Hokies with four starts… had a season-best six points at Florida State on a pair of three-pointers… had five points versus Clemson… tallied five points against No. 4 Duke… grabbed a season-high eight rebounds against Miami in the ACC Tournament… recorded four steals against Hampton.

Prior to Virginia Tech: Played for St. Francis Xavier’s College… Was named the team MVP in 2011 and 2012… Helped the team finish third in the state championships in 2011 and 2012… Named a Marist 5 which recognizes the top-5 players at the state championships… Earned tournament MVP honors… Competed with New South Wales team, helping the U20 squad to the silver medal in 2010 and the bronze in 2011… The team claimed gold in 2012… Tallied 12 rebounds, two steals and 9.5 points to earn MVP honors and be named to the All-Australian team.

Personal: Hannah Lucy McKay Young… Born March 2, 1993… Daughter of Lewis and Louise Young… Father played collegiate basketball at Gardner-Webb and played a year with the Harlem Globetrotters before playing professionally in Scotland… Has two sisters, Sophie and Emily… Enrolled in Human Nutrition, Food and Exercise.
