BLACKSBURG - The 12th-ranked Hokies return home to Blacksburg this weekend, hosting UNI and ACC opponent UNC at the Moss Arts Center on Friday and Saturday at 7 PM.
Tech enters the weekend after a busy first week of competition in the new year, winning four out of five duals in the early part of 2016.
Tickets for the weekend are still available at vthoki.es/moss and more information regarding travel, parking, concessions and more can be found here. Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 when purchased at the door. Student tickets are available for free with a valid student ID at the ticket window as long as supplies last.
Quick Hits on the Weekend:
• The Hokies look to insert some members of the squad back into the lineup this weekend after missing time due to injury as they begin to prepare for nationals
• Tech won all three of its matches at the Moss Arts Center last year, taking down three ACC opponents as part of a five-match win streak
• Three Hokie grapplers are undefeated in duals so far this season: Joey Dance (125 pounds), Solomon Chishko (141 pounds), and Ty Walz (HWT)
• VT has not lost to North Carolina during the regular season since 2008 and haven’t dropped a match to UNI since 2005
