2016-17: Earned a spot in the starting lineup, primarily at 165 pounds, as a redshirt senior … Went 12-16 overall and 6-8 in duals … Picked up a key 13-8 decision at 174 pounds against No. 6 Nebraska’s Justin Arthur in the NWCA National Duals … Dropped two close decisions at the ACC Tournament … Went 1-2 at the Cliff Keen Last Vegas Invitational … Defeated Ryan Lopez of West Virginia, 10-4, for his first dual meet victory of the season … Registered an 11-2 major decision against Joe Tavaso of Princeton … Won by decision, 8-4, over Duke’s Garrett Neff at the Moss Arts Center.

2015-16: Compiled a 2-5 record in 2015-16 and went 0-3 in dual meets for the Hokies … Advanced to the quarterfinals of the Edinboro Open, going 2-2 … Wrestled as part of the lineup three times in 2016 at 174 pounds … Wrestled against Bucknell as part of a 26-4 win at Virginia Duals … Competed on the Moss Arts Center stage in team wins over UNI (19-15) and then-No. 15 UNC (27-13).
