2014-15: NCAA All-American and ACC Champion … Placed fourth at 157 pounds, posting a 13-2 record in an injury-shortened season … A first-team all-state selection by VaSID … Picked up a technical fall in the Hokies' win over Newberry … Wrestling unattached, went 2-0 at the Hokie Open before having to forfeit out due to an elbow injury … Missed the rest of November and all of December and January … Returned to the mat on Feb. 1 to beat UVa's Andrew Atkinson 8-3 in the ACC dual meet … Downed Pitt's Ronnie Garbinsky 12-5 in the dual before picking up a 14-5 major decision over NCSU's Chad Pike two days later … Downed Immanuel Kerr-Brown of Duke, 5-3, in the dual … Went 2-0 at the conference championship to claim his third ACC title … Was unseeded for the NCAA Championships, but beat the Nos. 9, 8 and 5 seeds to reach the podium.

2013-14: Was redshirted … Wrestling unattached at 157 pounds, won the Hokie Open and the Wolfpack Open … Placed fifth at the Midlands Championships while wrestling unattached, going 4-2 … Trained at the USA Olympic Training Center in Colorado in January … Placed third at the ASICS University Freestyle Nationals at 70 kg, going 8-1.

2012-13: A 2013 All-American who placed eighth at 149 pounds … Went 31-7 … ACC Champion at 149 pounds … 2013 All-ACC … Went 16-3 in dual meets, 5-0 in ACC duals … Had five major decisions and two pins … Beat Nick Lester in sudden victory in the dual meet win over Oklahoma … Beat him for the third time at the NWCA National Duals … Defeated Donnie Vinson in the championship match of The Midlands to claim his first title … Named Champion of the Champions for the event after beating three 2012 All-Americans (Nick Lester, Montel Marion, Donnie Vinson) en route to the title … Got a takedown with a minute left to beat 14th-ranked Dave Habat of Edinboro 4-3 … Beat No. 6 Derek Valenti of Virginia, 3-2, in the dual meet … Picked up a big win over No. 8 Cam Tessari of Ohio State, 8-5 in the dual meet … Went 4-1 at the Hokie Open, placing third.

2011-12: The 2012 ACC champion at 149 pounds … The Conference's Rookie of the Year … 2012 All-ACC … Went 1-2 at the NCAA Championships, upsetting ninth-seeded David Habat of Edinboro in the first round … Finished his season with a 10-5 official record, but was 22-6 when combining unattached results … Went 2-1 in ACC duals … Had one major decision … Placed third in the 149-pound class at the Hokie Open, going 7-1 … Posted a 5-0 mark en route to a title at the Wolfpack Open … Wrestled both of those tournaments unattached, but had his redshirt pulled after the first two weekends … Gave up three points in the last five seconds to No. 16 Cam Tessari of Ohio State, 6-4 … Injured his ankle in that scramble at the end … Returned to the mat for a dual meet on Jan. 15, picking up a win against NC State … Defeated No. 9 Nick Lester of Oklahoma 5-3 in sudden victory in a dual match … Named to the 2011-12 All-ACC Academic Team.

High School: Lettered four times for Coach Jeff Jordan … Rated as the No. 26 overall senior prospect in the country by InterMat … Graduated from Graham High where he was a two-time Ohio state champion … As a freshman, went 40-8 and took third at 103 pounds at the state tournament before going 45-0 as a sophomore and winning that same weight class … Took second place at 119 pounds as a junior, going 42-4 … Posted over 150 wins for his career and placed third at the Walsh Ironman and FILA Cadet Nationals in 2010 … Won a state title and the Ironman as a senior.
