Tech heads back to Columbus to wrap up regular season
Hokies to face No. 11 Buckeyes on Sunday

BLACKSBURG - The Virginia Tech wrestling squad will return to Columbus, Ohio, on Sunday for a dual match against No. 11 Ohio State at 2 p.m. inside St. John Arena. The Hokies wrestled in Columbus this past weekend at the NWCA National Duals, going 3-1 at the event.

The Buckeyes (12-5) moved up to 11th in the latest poll after going 3-1 at the National Duals to place third. Tech is 18-4 on the season.

Fans who can’t make it can watch the event live thru the BTN.com and live stats will be available thru TrackWrestling.

The Hokies hosted Ohio State last season to open the season, falling 23-10 at Cassell Coliseum. Tech’s lone win in the series came in 2004, a 29-12 win in Columbus.

Following the match, the Hokies will begin preparations for the 2014 ACC Wrestling Championship, which will be held in Cassell Coliseum on Saturday, March 8. Tickets are already on sale and can be bought here.
