2011-12: An NCAA qualifier after placing third at 141 pounds at the ACC Championships … Went 2-2 at the NCAA Championships, advancing to the round of 12 … Finished the season with a 22-12 overall mark, 6-7 in duals … Went 3-2 in the ACC … Picked up five major decisions and three pins on the year … Saw his first action of the year at Ohio State in a dual meet, giving up a takedown with under 5 seconds left to lose to No, 15 Hunter Steiber, 7-6 … Posted a 5-0 mark at the Nittany Lion Open to take the title at 141 pounds … Went 6-2 to take fourth place at the Midlands … Named the ACC Wrestler of the Week on Jan. 24 after picking up two dual wins, including a pin of No. 18 Evan Henderson of UNC.
