2013-14: An All-American at 197 pounds … The ACC Champion at 197 pounds … Went 28-13 on the season at 197 pounds, 15-7 in duals … The 28 wins were a career best … Had three major decisions, a technical fall and two pins … Posted a 4-2 record in ACC duals … Went 5-2 at the Las Vegas Invitational to place fifth … Went 2-2 at the Midlands Championships … Beat UNC's Frank Abbondanza 14-3 in the dual match … Earned an injury default win over No. 8 Christian Boley of Maryland, but was winning 6-0 when the bout ended … Went 3-0 at the ACC Championship to claim his first crown … Beat Virginia's Zach Nye in the finals to claim the title … Beat third-seeded Morgan McIntosh (Penn State) and 10th-seeded Nathan Burak (Iowa) to reach the semifinals of the NCAA Championships … Placed sixth after suffering a shoulder injury in the placement matches and forfeiting out of the fifth-place match … A first-team selection to the VaSID All-State team.

2012-13: Redshirted while wrestling at heavyweight … Won the Edinboro Open … Placed fourth at the National Collegiate Open … Wrestling unattached, went 1-2 at the Midlands Championships … Competed in the Purple Raider Open … Went 4-1 at the Wolfpack Open, placing fifth … Went 3-2 at the Hokie Open, placing fourth.

2011-12: The ACC runner-up at the ACC Championships at heavyweight … 2012 All-ACC … Went 12-8 on the season, 8-3 in duals … Went 5-0 in ACC action … Had four major decisions … Wrestling unattached, won the Wolfpack Open at heavyweight with a 5-0 mark … Went 3-0 at the Harris Open, hosted by Ashland University, to take first place while wrestling unattached … Picked up an overtime win in the final bout against Virginia to seal the team win … Went 2-2 at the Nittany Lion Open … Competed at the Midlands.

2010-11: Wrestled his best toward the end of the season … Went 14-21 overall and 8-16 in dual matches at 197 pounds … Posted a 2-3 mark in ACC dual meets … Dominated top-seeded Mike Salopek of Virginia at the ACC Championships with a major decision … The ACC runner-up at 197 pounds … Recorded four major decisions and a pin … Picked up 31 points for the team in dual matches.

2009-10: The starter at 197 pounds all season as a true freshman … Got better as the season progressed … Posted a 3-16 overall record … Went 3-14 in dual matches and 1-3 in ACC competition … Had one major decision … Finished the regular season with a pair of wins, including a major decision over NC State’s Christian McClean … Was Tech’s representative at 197 pounds for the ACC Championships.
