Fifteen members of Tech's football recruiting class enroll for summer school

Fifteen Virginia Tech student-athlete football players enrolled for the second summer session, which began Tuesday. They went to a team meeting Tuesday night, started attending classes, and started participating in the Hokies’ strength and conditioning program, along with other activities to get them acclimated to college life.

Those 15 student-athletes include Kevin Asante, Michael Cole, James Farrow, Jake Goins, Kris Harley, Michael Holmes, Kyshoen Jarrett, Demitri Knowles, Luther Maddy, Ryan Malleck, Corey Marshall, Dadi Nicolas, Darius Redman, Christian Reeves and Matt Roth.

Boye Aromire enrolled in January for the spring semester and participated in spring practice.

Ronny Vandyke and Robert Lockhart are expected to enroll in August for preseason practices. Those practices start Thursday, Aug. 4. All of Tech’s squad is to report on Aug. 3.
