2012: Continued to work on the line, but did not dress for any games … Recorded a 370-pound bench press, a 395-pound front squat and a 340-pound push jerk to earn Hokie level honors in fall scout team testing … Was tried at both tackle positions, as well as right guard during the spring.

2011: Worked at tackle while redshirting … Helped out on the scout team … Went through the off-season program and continued his work at tackle during spring practice.
