2012: Academic All-District

2012: Played in 10 games, making four starts … Earned Academic All-District honors … Was an honorable mention Freshman All-American by CFN.com … Saw action on 443 snaps at rover and was also in on 72 special teams plays for a total of 515 … Tallied 43 tackles, two interceptions and a fumble recovery on the year … Played 17 snaps on defense against Austin Peay, making three tackles … Saw action on 60 defensive snaps and made eight tackles, while also appearing on special teams at Pittsburgh … Broke up a pass and made six tackles against Bowling Green … Made four tackles against Cincinnati in first career start … Led the team with 11 tackles, including one for a three-yard loss at North Carolina … Recovered a fumble and returned an interception 12 yards against Duke … Had five tackles and an interception at Clemson … Started against Florida State and made two tackles before leaving the game early with a neck sprain … Did not play any more games in the season.
