2016: Appeared in five games, all in relief … Had a 8.10 ERA in a total of 3.1 innings, struck out seven batters, walked one, and combined on two shutouts – at The Citadel (Feb. 21) and versus ETSU (Feb. 23) … Tossed a season-high 1.0 innings twice – against Alcorn State (May 8) and Wake Forest (May 15) ... Inherited three runners and just one of them scored … Retired 2-of-5 first batters faced … Struck out a season-high two batters three times (versus The Citadel, Alcorn State and Wake Forest) … Pitched a total of 1.1 consecutive scoreless innings … Also, at one point, retired four straight batters.

2015: Appeared in five games, all in relief … Had a 9.53 ERA in a total of 5.2 innings of work and struck out five batters … Threw at least 1.0 innings in every outing and did not allow an earned run in one of them … Inherited one runner and did not allow it did not score … Struck out at least two batters once … Pitched a total of two scoreless innings, including a season-high 1.2 consecutive … Also, threw one perfect frames and, at one point, retired five straight batters … Had one double play turned behind him, a GDP.

2014: Appeared in nine games making two starts … Had a 7.94 ERA in a total of 20.2 innings and struck out 17 batters … Threw at least 1.0 innings in six relief outings and did not allow an earned run in one of them … Inherited seven runners and allowed two to score for a 71.4 percent held rate … Struck out at least two batters five times … Pitched a total of 12 scoreless innings, including a season-high 3.2 consecutive … Also, threw two perfect frames and, at one point, retired six straight batters ... Had two double plays turned behind him, one was a GDP.

2013: Appeared in nine games making one start, at VMI on April 23 … Posted a 5.82 ERA in a total of 17.0 innings and struck out 10 batters … In eight relief appearances, had a 4.02 ERA in 15.2 innings and opponents hit just .246 against him … Threw at least 1.0 innings in seven relief outings and did not allow an earned run in four of them, and tossed at least 2.0 in five times … Struck out at least two batters twice … Pitched a total of nine scoreless innings, four were perfect, and retired a season-high six straight at one point.

High School: Earned varsity letters three years while playing for Coach Joe Weber at Christopher Columbus Catholic … In final two seasons for the Explorers, pitched in 22 games with 16 starts, went 11-1 with one save, two complete game shutouts and one no-hitter – tossed on March 4, 2011 against Archbishop McCarthy, a team ranked No. 1 nationally in 2011 by Baseball America, in state regional contest … Threw 84 total innings allowing just 17 earned runs (1.42 ERA) and striking out 92 … During senior year had a 1.04 ERA in 47 innings with 55 strikeouts … Was a first team all-county and a county all-star in both 2011 and 2012, and named an honorable mention all-state by ESPN.go.com in 2012 … Helped team to state title game (8A division) in 2009 and 2012, when the team finished as the ninth-ranked team in the nation according to Baseball America.
