2012-13: Scheduled to redshirt … Wrestling unattached, went 4-2 at the Wilkes Open to place fourth … Went 3-1 at the Mat Town Open, hosted by Lock Haven, placing second … Went 5-1 at the Wolfpack Open to place fifth … Went 5-2 at the Hokie Open.

2011-12: Went 7-10 on the season, 1-5 in duals and 1-2 in the ACC … Picked up one major decision … Placed fourth at 157 pounds at the Hokie Open and fourth at the Wolfpack Open wrestling unattached … Went 2-1 as an unattached wrestler at the Harris Open, hosted by Ashland University, taking second place … Went 4-2 at the Nittany Lion Open as an unattached competitor … Had his redshirt pulled off before the Southern Scuffle … Went 3-3 to take eighth at that event … Competed at the National Collegiate Open, placing third … Named to the 2011-12 All-ACC Academic Team.
