BLACKSBURG – Back on Carilion Clinic Court, the Virginia Tech women’s basketball looks for its third conference win of the season Thursday, when it takes on Georgia Tech. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. with coverage available through ACC Network Extra.

The Yellow Jackets: Georgia Tech (13-7, 2-5) defeated Wake Forest 79-67 to snap a four-game losing streak on Sunday. Zaire O’Neil led Georgia Tech with 18 points in the game.
On the season Francesca Pan leads the Jackets in scoring at 13.2 points per game. O’Neil is second with 10.8 while also pulling down 5.6 rebounds a contest.
The series: Georgia Tech leads the series 10-5 and owns wins in the last four meetings.
Last season in Atlanta, the Hokies led at the half, before succumbing to the Jackets in the final frame 87-81. Chanette Hicks scored 29 points and also recorded six assists and six steals to lead Virginia Tech.
O’Neil scored 25 for the Jackets.
Up next: The Hokies remain home for a matchup with the Miami Hurricanes on Sunday, Jan. 28. Tipoff is set for 2 p.m.
