Hokies head to Charlotte for ACC Media Day

BLACKSBURG – Virginia Tech head coach Kenny Brooks and redshirt junior forward Regan Magarity will head to Charlotte, North Carolina to address the media assembled at the Charlotte Westin for the league’s annual Media Day on Thursday.

Coaches and student-athletes from all 15 ACC schools will make the trip for the event, which will be streamed live on ACC.com, Facebook Live and on ACC Network Extra.

Chelsea Shine Wilson will moderate the discussion with the coaches and student-athletes, which will take place in two sessions. Seven schools will be present for the morning session beginning at 9:30 a.m. The Hokies will be one of eight schools represented at the afternoon session beginning at 2 p.m., with Brooks and Magarity scheduled to take the main stage at 2:18 p.m.

The Hokies’ duo will visit eight stations to do segments with different outlets, including ACC Digital Network, Raycom, ESPN and Fox Sports South.
