GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Atlantic Coast Conference and Virginia Tech women’s basketball announces the 2016-17 ACC schedule. Tech will host eight league games this season starting with the conference opener on Jan. 2, 2017 against North Carolina.
The Hokies will take to the road on Jan. 8 for the league road opener at Clemson and will stay on the road to face Miami on Jan. 11. Tech will host Wake Forest on Jan. 16 and Virginia on Feb. 19 in televised games on RSN.
Five teams that appeared in the 2016 NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament are coming into Cassell this season including: Florida State (Jan. 22), 2016 national runners-up Syracuse (Jan. 29), Notre Dame (Feb. 2), Louisville (Feb. 9) and Miami (Feb. 23).
In addition to Clemson and Miami, Tech will also face Duke (Jan. 19), Virginia (Jan. 26), Georgia Tech (Feb. 5), NC State (Feb. 12) and Pittsburgh (Feb. 16) on the road.
The Hokies are set to wrap up the regular season on Feb. 26 at Boston College.
