BLACKSBURG, Va. - Brittany Cook, a redshirt junior guard from Narrows, Va., has been named a second team selection to the 2008 All-Atlantic Coast Conference women's basketball team. "This is another well deserved honor for Brittany. Not only does she lead the ACC in scoring, she also is our team's top rebounder and one of our best defenders," said Virginia Tech head coach Beth Dunkenberger. "We are proud of her and excited that she will be back next season."
The Hokies will open play in the 31st ACC Championship in Greensboro, N.C. on Thurs., Mar. 6 at 6 p.m. against Boston College.
