"We're very happy to be here, this year more than ever. Early on, this season was a great struggle for us with so many new people. We're much deserving to be here as one of the top-64 teams in the nation. I'm very happy also to have the fine players I have in Kiesha Beard, Nicole Brathwaite and Lynetta Sullivan. I feel good about everything."
"They [Penn State] shoot extremely well, they're very quick and [Kelly] Mazzante has range. You can't really pin point her because there's some other great players on the team. They also have a good inside game."
"I do have a very experienced point guard, but our backup point guard went down with a knee injury. Even though she was a freshman she was really coming around. This match-up in the guard position, they have the height advantage, but I really believe that with our aggressiveness it really doesn't matter how tall you are. You just believe in what you can do. Our kids are not going to be intimidated, they're not intimidated. You don't necessarily have to look the height of a team, its the aggressiveness and what you can do. We just intend to take care of business."
"Getting my team ready for this kind of play is done early on. We played Wisconsin, we played Duke, we played Chattanooga. We were ready early on. Being here right now there's no pressure. Why should there be pressure on us? We're an experienced ball club. I can call up on any one of my kids and they'll be ready to play."
"We relied on defense a whole lot this year and this a very offense oriented team we're playing. I guarantee if we come with our defense it should make for a good game. We have to play the ladies on the court. We don't play the name 'Penn State.' A lot of times that's what happens, you play the name. I know we're playing against the number one seed, but we don't look at them as the number one seed. They deserve it, but if you go in looking at Penn State as the number one, you're defeated before you even go on the floor and we're not going to look at it that way."

"Every team has a weakness and we feel like we're prepared to go in and find that weakness and capitalize on it."
"They're tall and they have a lot of guard activity going on. We're planning to limit their shots, their looks at the basket and easy shots. Basically we want to focus on penetrating in and evening out their defense."
"Our main focus is on coming out and being aggressive. We look at Penn State as another ball club. We just want to come out like it's Saturday night at the park and play a basketball game."

"A lot of things we were doing last year, we're definitely not doing this year. We just want to come in, execute and give Penn State some problems."

"[Playing top teams] Helps us a lot because playing against the top teams in the nation forces you to come out with your "A-game." For us, it made us realize we're a good team and go out there and play hard."
