Head Coach Bonnie Henrickson
"We're excited to be one day out now. It's been a long time since the BIG EAST tournament and certainly since selection Sunday. We're anxious to play the University of Iowa tomorrow."

On defending the Hawkeyes:
"We have to be better than we have been all year. It is with great diversity that they attack you. They are very efficient in the triangle offense. There are a few teams in our league that run that offense, but what is unique to how they run it is that they move people in positions. They'll put guards into what are typical post positions in that offense and vice versa. [Jennie] Lillis is a bit of a match-up problem for us because of her ability to shoot the three and put it on the floor. We have to be very good defensively with her. How well they shoot the ball and how unselfish they are is very impressive on the offensive end for them."

"We averaged 20 turnovers in our NCAA play last year. This is the time of the year to execute and knock down shots. Carrie Mason is confident that she will manage possessions and get it to where it's supposed to be. It's important for us to be able to handle whatever defensive pressure they bring in whatever form it comes. We have to limit our turnovers and value the basketball and try to get as many possessions as we can. If we are not going to shoot the ball well, we need as many possessions as we can get and as many offensive rebounds as we can get."

Student-Athlete Carrie Mason
"[Iowa] has two good posts that can shoot the ball very well and we're going to help our posts on that. We are going to have to keep their guards under control. They have a really good shooter and two very capable scorers at the guard position, but I think we match up very well."

"Ieva [Kublina] is an outstanding player and it has been an honor to play with her. It makes my job a lot easier because ... her abilities on the floor open up a lot of opportunities for everyone on the team. If [Iowa] tries to focus just on her, we have other people who can step up."

"We played very well defensively against Connecticut but not so great offensively. We have worked hard the last couple of weeks on offense and going back to the fundamentals. We're a good enough team that we can recover, it is just a matter of putting the ball in the hoop."

Student-Athlete Kerri Gardin
"I think [the home court advantage] is a huge factor, even though during the regular season we did lose a couple games here. If we get the crowd behind us with their support and play with confidence it should be exciting."
