Due to the expected influx of visiting fans for Sunday's women's basketball games at Cassell Coliseum, Virginia Tech fans and visiting fans arriving prior to game day are encouraged to come by the Tech ticket office and purchase their tickets ahead of time.
Buying tickets ahead of time will keep the congestion in the Cassell Coliseum lobby to a minimum and also reduce the wait time for those arriving on game day.
The Tech ticket office will be open on Friday, March 19 from 9 a.m.-5 p.m., and on Saturday, March 20 from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
Parking for the games will be on a first come-first serve basis. Starting at 5 p.m. on Friday, no one will be allowed to park in the Cassell lot at the corner of Washington St. and Spring Rd. The lot will open for parking at 8 a.m. on Sunday morning. Also, the small lot between Cassell Coliseum and the tennis courts is reserved for media and will not be open to the general public.
The Tech ticket office is located in the Cassell Coliseum lobby on Washington St.
The Hokies play the Iowa Hawkeyes in the first game of the day at noon. Penn State's game against Hampton will follow at approximately 2:30 p.m. Ticket packages include both games on Sunday and the second round game on Tuesday, March 23. Adult packages are $25 and packages for college students and children under 17 are $10.
