2015: Started 11 matches, playing in 28 … Totaled 405 assists and 140 digs … Tallied 25 aces, third most on the team … Recorded two double-doubles … Had 20 or more assists in nine matches … Posted a career-high 30 assists at Duke … Tied a career-high of four aces versus Virginia … Registered three aces on two occasions: Bowling Green and Boston College.
2014: Saw time in all 31 matches, tallying double-digit assists in 29 of them… Had 20 or more assists in 12 matches… Recorded career-highs with 27 at Ohio and versus Clemson… Had 22 assists at No. 19 Kentucky… Tallied 23 assists in the wins over No. 12 Illinois and at Virginia… Notched 24 kills against Louisville and at Clemson… Recorded 19 assists and 10 digs versus No. 21 Duke… Had three double-doubles.
High School: Attended Walsh Jesuit High School where she was a four year All-Ohio honoree and earned First Team All-District honors all four years… Tabbed to the PrepVolleyball Top-100 Senior Aces list... Personal: Kyra Rose Coundourides… Born Aug. 20, 1995 in Brunswick, Ohio… Daughter of Stacy and Karol Coundourides… Has three siblings, Alyssa, Alex and Eli… Father and mother both played volleyball at Baldwin Wallace, in addition, mother competed in basketball, softball and track, earning Outstanding Senior Female Athlete honors… Sister Alyssa was a captain and all-conference setter at Hiram College while brother Alex was a four-year starter for the men’s volleyball team at Baldwin Wallace… Majoring in Biological Sciences.
