2013 Outdoor: Placed fifth in the long jump at the NCAA Championship to earn first-team All-America honors with his fourth jump at 25.9.25 (7.85m) … Advanced to the championships by finishing first at the NCAA East Preliminary Round with a mark of 25-8.25 (7.83m) … Placed second in the long at the ACC Championship after bettering his school record with a 26-0.75 (7.94m) jump to earn All-ACC honors … Took third in the 110m hurdles at the at the ACC meet to earn All-ACC honors after qualifying with a 13.82 wind-aided time in the prelims … Broke the school’s 110m hurdles record in the prelims at the NCAA East Preliminary Round after clocking a time of 13.84 … A member of the 4x100 relay for much of the year, he was the lead leg on the team at the NCAA East prelims which posted a time of 40.01, the fast for the team on the season ... Co-honoree of the team's Coaches Award.

2013 Indoor: Earned first-team All-America honors with one-legal at the NCAA Championship … Placed seventh overall at the championship after hitting a mark of 25-6.5 (7.78m) one his only legal jump of the championship after fouling on his other five attempts … Also garnered second-team All-America honors in the distance medley relay as the team qualified for the NCAA Championships on final qualifier weekend … Captured his first ACC title in the long jump by shattering Ken Stewart’s 30-year record with his mark of 25-10 (7.87m) … Also placed third in the 60m hurdles at the ACC meet with a time of 7.88 … On the first weekend of the season, broke his 60m hurdle school record at the VT Invitational as he finished in 7.77 … Was a member on the team’s 4x400 relay which took a bronze medal at the ACC Championship, finishing at 3:12.72.

2012 Outdoor: Placed 13th in the long jump at the NCAA Championship with mark of 24-6.5 (7.48m) to earn second team All-America honors … Also earned second team All-America as the lead off leg of the school record setting and 13th place 4x100 meter relay (39.62) at the NCAA Championship … Qualified for the NCAA Meet in the long jump with a school record mark of 24-11.25 (7.60m) at the NCAA East Prelims ... Bettered Jerry Gaines’ long jump record that was set in 1971 and thus broke the longest standing record in the Tech record books ... Also competed in the 110 meter hurdles at the East Prelims and ran a wind-aided personal best 13.83 in the first round, while also qualifying for nationals as the led off leg of the 4x100 meter relay (40.07) ... Notched a legal PR of 14.00 in the 110 meter hurdles at the NC A&T Aggie Classic ... Led off the second place and then school record setting 4x100 meter relay (39.95) at the ACC Championship ... Earned All-ACC honors in the long jump with a runner-up finish (24-8.5, 7.53m) and also ran on the fifth place 4x400 meter relay (3:12.70) at the ACC Meet ... Ran the second leg on the school record setting 4x400 meter relay (3:09.95) at the Florida Relays, while winning the university section of the long jump (24-9, 7.54m) … Led off the winning 4x100 meter relay (41.59) at the Miami Hurricane Invitational and ran on the winning 4x400 meter relay (3:10.74) at the Yellow Jacket Invitational … Also competed in the 400 meter hurdles (53.70) and finished third at the Yellow Jacket Invitational.

2012 Indoor: Set the school record in the 60 meter hurdles with a time of 7.81 at the VT Elite Meet … Placed fourth in the long jump at the ACC Championship (24-1.5, 7.35m) … Also took seventh in the 60 meter hurdles, in addition to running on the third place 4x400 meter relay at the ACC Meet (3:14.67) … Was second in the long jump at the VT Elite Meet with a season best 24-5.5 (7.45m) … Ran the leadoff leg on the team-leading 4x400 meter relay at the VT Invitational (3:13.93).

2011 Outdoor: Led the team in the long jump, posting a season-best 24-8.25 (7.52m) at the NCAA East Regional to qualify for the NCAA Championships, where he finished 18th … Earned team points for the Hokies in three events at the ACC Championships, including an All-ACC third-place performance in the long jump (24-7.25, 7.50m) ... Earned team Rookie award.

2011 Indoor: Added 13 points to the Hokies’ total at the ACC Championships, placing fifth in the 60-meter hurdles (8.01), third in the long jump (24-9, 7.54m) and sixth in the triple jump (49-5.5, 15.07m) … Led the team with season-best in the ACC 60-meter hurdle prelims (7.94) and the long jump, earning All-ACC honors in the latter … Ran second leg on the team-leading 1,600-meter relay at the VT Elite Meet (3:14.19).

Prior to Tech: Competed in the 60 and 110-meter hurdles at the University of Oklahoma during the 2010 season.

High School: Was a team captain at Western Branch High School in Chesapeake, Va. … 2009 VHSL AAA State Champion in the 110 and 55-meter hurdles … Three-time Eastern Region champion in the triple jump … 2009 Eastern Region champion in the 55 and 110-meter hurdles … Five-time All-State honoree in the triple jump and four times in the long jump … Two-time All-American as part of the 800, 1,600-meter and shuttle hurdle relays.
