2009-10: Qualified for the NCAA Championships for the second-straight year…Placed 23^rd in the 200 back, breaking his own school record in 1:43.72, and 25^th in the 100 back…Placed third in the 100 backstroke and earned an eighth-place finish in the 100 butterfly at the ACC Championships…Also added a ninth-place performance in the 200 backstroke and swam the first leg to help the 400 medley relay team to a fourth-place finish…Placed fourth in the 100 back at the Volunteer Invitational…Earned four titles in the 100 backstroke throughout the season.

2008-09: Had a standout freshman season and qualified for the NCAA Championships, competing in the 100 and 200 back, placing 20th and 33rd, respectively … Placed second in the 100 backstroke, 10th in the 200 backstroke and 15th in the 100 butterfly at the ACC Championships … Helped the 400 medley relay team finish third and the 200 medley relay team finish fifth at championships … Took fourth in the 100 back and 12th in the 100 fly at the Volunteer Invitational and helped the 400 medley relay team place second … Named Team Rookie of the Year.
