2010: A second-team All-ACC selection in her final season … Dealt with injuries throughout the year, but played in 43 games, starting 42 … Hit. 273 with 11 home runs and a team-high 34 RBI … Also had four doubles and a triple … Was hit a school-record 12 times … Hit a walk-off home run against Florida State and a grand slam against Boston College … Drew 15 walks and scored 21 runs.

2009: Practiced with the team in the fall, but was suspended from the university for the spring semester … Re-enrolled at Tech for the summer.

2008: Started all 68 games for the Hokies in her first season, 59 at shortstop, three at catcher, five at first and one as the designated player … Batted .241 with eight doubles, a triple, seven home runs, 38 RBI and 30 runs scored … Had a walk-off home run in the 10th inning against Louisville in the Knoxville Regional … Had a two-run home run against Tennessee to give Tech the lead in the Regional final.

Louisburg: Played one season for Coach Don Gines at Louisburg College … Helped lead her squad to the 2006-2007 Region X Championship as well as the 2006-2007 District J Championship … Was named first-team all-region, as well as MVP of the Region X Tournament … Also made the all-tournament team … Hit .496 for the season, recording 67 hits, eight home runs and 42 RBI … Had 16 doubles, three triples, 17 walks, an on base percentage of .561 and a slugging percentage of .837 … In two games against Aiken Tech at the regional tournament, went a combined 5-for-5 with three home runs, two doubles, 12 RBI, four runs scored and three walks … Hit four home runs and drove in 14 in that tournament, earning the MVP honors.

High School: A three-time, first-team Group AA all-state selection, sharing player of the year honors her final year … Was a four-sport athlete — volleyball, basketball, indoor track and softball … Earned Region II and Valley District Player of the Year honors in softball after hitting .586 in the regular season … Finished her final year with 17 home runs and 55 RBI … Set a new school record for home runs in a season and career (35) … Was named first-team all-district and all-region all four years.
