High School: Earned varsity letters all four years while playing for Coaches David Younkins and Billy Kline at Churchland … Earned all-district honors all four years, including second team as a freshman and sophomore and first team as a junior and senior … Was the district’s offensive player of the year as a sophomore after batting .313 with eight doubles, a triple, three home runs, 17 RBIs and 11 stolen bases, and was the defensive player of the year as a junior … Also made a pair of all-region teams, second as a junior and first as a senior, while earning district co-player of the year honors in 2012 after belting a public schools’ high six home runs … Played basketball as well for the Truckers, earning three varsity letters as a forward for Coach Patrick Dulin.
