2009 – 2010 (at Northeast Texas): Played two seasons for the Eagles earning all-conference honors both years … In the two seasons, batted a combined .379 with 157 hits, 90 RBI, 97 runs scored, while hitting 24 doubles, 11 triples and seven home runs … Drew 57 walks and stole 33 bases … In 2010, helped team to regional tournament and hit .438 with two doubles, nine RBI and four runs scored in 16 at bats.
High School: Played outfield and pitched for Coach Mark Looney at Parkers Chapel High, earning varsity letters all four seasons … Was a three-time all-state selection and earned all-conference honors all four years … Helped Parkers Chapel to the 2007 Arkansas State Championship and was named the state tournament MVP.
