BLACKSBURG, Va. – Virginia Tech head women’s tennis coach Terry Ann Zawacki-Woods has announced the addition of Caroline Daxhelet to the 2014-15 roster. Daxhelet hails from Arlon, Belgium.
“We are looking forward to welcoming Caroline to our team," said Zawacki-Woods. “We saw a solid student-athlete in Caroline, who is just taking off, and we know she will have a very successful college career, on and off the court. She has been practicing very hard and her best results have been recently, on hard courts. We look forward to seeing her in action and make a positive impact with our team this spring season."
Daxhelet has ranked among the top junior players in her division and is the No. 44 player in the women’s open Belgium division. She recently defeated players ranked No. 744 & No. 749 players to reach the semifinals in Egypt WTA Tournament.
