Former Hokies sign to play volleyball overseas

Setter Erin Leaser and outside hitter Justine Record recently signed to play volleyball overseas. Leaser will compete in Belgium while Record will play in the south of France.

Leaser’s team, Barbar X-elles is in Brussels, Belgium. During her career with the Hokies, Leaser tallied 4,682 assists, 935 digs, 278 kills, 216 blocks and 84 service aces. She finished her career ranked third in Virginia Tech’s all-time record list in assists.

The team Record signed with, Toulon Provence Mediterranean Var Volleyball is located in Toulon, France. Record ended her career ranked fourth on Tech’s all-time service aces list with 176 and seventh all-time in digs with 1,238. She also concluded her career with 1,121 kills and 133 blocks.
