EUGENE, Ore. - Tomas Kruzliak finished in fourth place in the men’s hammer throw, earning First-Team All-America honors, to lead the Hokie men on the first day of competition at the 2015 NCAA DI Outdoor Track & Field Championships hosted by the University of Oregon.

On Kruzliak’s second throw in the preliminaries, the junior heaved the hammer to a distance of 224-8 (68.48m) earning him a spot in the top nine and three more throws in the finals. After some shifting after the first two throws of the final round, Kruzliak found himself in fifth place with one final throw.
