Hokies conclude weekend at Raleigh Relays
Pinder posts two top-five finishes

RALEIGH, N.C- The Virginia Tech track & field team concluded a busy weekend with some quality performances at the Raleigh Relays hosted by NC State on Saturday afternoon.

For the women, Nora McKiver earned an eighth-place finish in the women’s 100-meter hurdles with a time of 14.56 seconds.

Jasmine Mitchell finished in 12th place in the women’s 200-meter race with a time of 24.63 seconds

On the men’s side, Tadashi Pinder posted a time of 10.58 seconds in the men’s 100-meter dash en route to a fourth-place finish overall.

The men’s 4x100-meter relay team finished in eighth place with a time of 41.45 seconds.

Pinder and Dante Price earned top-five finishes in the men’s 200-meter race. Price finished in second place with a time of 21.36 seconds while Pinder finished in fourth place with a time of 21.57 seconds.

The Hokies will split up again next weekend, as the team will be sending athletes to the Colonial Relays, the Florida Relays and the Auburn Invitational.
