2016 Outdoor: Named to the All-ACC Academic Team … Was injured for much of the season (hamstring) … Came in fifth in the triple jump at the ACC Championships with a mark of 15.72 meters (51-7) … Qualified for the NCAA East Regional, but scratched because of his injury.

2016 Indoor: Competed in the long jump at the ACC Championships and finished 17th with a jump of 6.52 meters … Did not compete in the triple jump at the ACC Championships because of a hamstring injury.

2015 Outdoor: All-ACC Academic Team member ... ACC Field Performer of the Week for April 21 ... Improved his personal best long jump to a mark of 25-10.25 (7.88m) at the Virginia Challenge.

2015 Indoor: Earned first team All-America honors after finishing in fourth place at the 2015 NCAA DI Indoor Track & Field Championships with a mark of 54'2" (16.53m) ... Crowned the 2015 ACC Champion in the triple jump by hitting an ACC record and school-record setting personal best mark of 54'6" (16.61m) ... Earned second team All-ACC honors after finishing in fourth in the long jump with a mark of 24'3.75" (7.41m) in the long jump.

Prior to Virginia Tech: Attended the University of Memphis where he was the silver medalist in the triple jump at the 2013 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships... Won the 2014 German National Championship in the triple jump... Ziegler's personal bests are 16.54 meters (54' 3.25") in the triple jump and 7.36 meters (24'1.75") in the long jump.
