Tech has now advanced to 3-0 when leading at halftime and at home. Mike Brizendine will take his squad to Delaware looking to expand on their 2-0-0 all-time series history.
Scouting the Blue Hens
The Delaware Blue Hens also picked up their first conference win of the season against William & Mary on Saturday. The Hens defeated the Tribe 2-1 in double overtime. Their player to watch is senior All-American Guillermo Delgado who set a school record in career points Saturday. Delaware advanced to 6-1 on the season with their only loss to Villanova. The Hens were ranked at No. 22 previously before dropping out and just receiving votes.
The Last Meeting
The two teams have only meet twice in history with Tech having both victories. They met for the first time in 2003 in Radford and again last year in Blacksburg.
