High School: The goalkeeper attended Bellaire High School and also played club for the Houston Dynamo Academy. Filby played his freshman year at Bellaire but has played for coach James Clarkson at the Houston Dynamo Academy for five years. His team finished first in their division and ranked fifth nationally. As a U16, he played in the U.S. Soccer Development Academy Playoffs and the team finished ranked 14th in the country.
