Virginia Tech is the No. 2 seed in the NCAA Auburn Regional, to be played May 15-17, 2014 at the Auburn University Club in Auburn, Alabama. The Hokies will play a practice round on Wednesday and tee-off in the first group, beginning at 8 a.m. on Thursday morning from the first tee. Tech will be grouped with top national seed Alabama and No. 3 seed Texas in the first round.
This is the Hokies' eighth consecutive NCAA regional appearance and the 16th time in school history competing in the NCAA tournament. The top five teams and the low individual on a non-advancing team will advance to the 2014 NCAA Division I Men's Golf Championship, to be played May 23-28, 2014, at the Prairie Dunes Country Club in Hutchinson, Kansas, hosted by Wichita State University.
