ON THE

PGA

TOUR

Former Hokies and close

friends Johnson Wagner and

Brendon de Jonge competed on

the PGA Tour once again in 2016.

Wagner, a three-time winner on

Tour, has earned over $11 million

in ten full seasons. His 2016

campaign included three Top 10

finishes, highlighted by a pair of

fifth place finishes in the last two

regular season events. He finished

the year 78th in the FedEx Cup

standings and is fully exempt on

the PGA Tour for the 2017 season.

A member of the International

Team for the 2013 President’s

Cup, de Jonge has now earned

over $12 million during his career.

Unfortunately, in 2016 he finished

outside the Top 150 on Tour for the

first time in 10 years, with an injury

late in the season hindering his run

in the four-tournament

Tour playoffs. De Jonge will rely on

sponsor exemptions to begin his

season on Tour in 2017.
