About 10 a.m. CT, the Hokies completed their third and final round at the NCAA Golf Championships. Tech shot a final round 1-over-par 281, 20 strokes better than Round 2. That puts the Hokies in 28th place.
Trevor Cone and Scott Vincent each shot 3-under 67 today and senior Bryce Chalkley posted a 73 in his final collegiate round.
The final individual places will not be known until the second wave finishes tonight, but as of the end of the morning wave groups, Cone is tied for 22nd and Vincent is tied for 43rd.
The team will grab some lunch here at the club and then head back to the hotel. The Hokies will probably fly back to Blacksburg (by way of Charlotte) on Tuesday.
We will have a photo gallery and interview with Coach Hardwick later this afternoon and a complete wrap-up on Hokiesports.com this evening.
