It’s 8 p.m. local time and the Hokies have just returned from Prairie Dunes Country Club, where for the last hour or so, the team has been putting and working in the short game area.

Play was officially called for the day around 6 p.m. CT and the team grabbed a quick dinner and then got in some much needed time away from their rooms and on golf practice facilities.

The plan now is to finish the first round Saturday morning, then play as long as they can in the afternoon. Though play will resume at 7 a.m., there is still no time set yet for the Hokies to begin play.
