Men's Golf: 2014 NCAAs

It’s Friday morning and the sun is shining. After a rainy Wednesday and a chilly Thursday, Friday is shaping up to be a beautiful day. The Hokies will go off at 8:50 a.m. from the 10th tee.

After all was said and done on Thursday, although the Hokies did not play well, the tournament, and more importantly, one of the five advancing berths to Kansas, are still at hand. Tech enters the second round just two strokes out of fifth place. But the Hokies must play better today.

The only weather issue that could arise today is wind. Winds are expected to increase during the day, up to about 15 mph. The 0% chance of rain is very welcome to all the golfers and the people running this event.

We would also like to congratulate all the Hokies graduating this weekend.

Check back later for all the results. We will attempt to tweet, but that will be up to cellular signals. Live scoring is also available on hokiesports.com.
