Virginia Tech begins its final road trip of the season on Tuesday night in Chestnut Hill, Massachussetts against Boston College. The game, scheduled for a 9 p.m. tip, will be shown on ESPNU.

The Hokies enter tonight’s game 14-13 overall and 6-8 in ACC action … Boston College is 7-20 on the season and 0-14 in league play.
Last Time Out: VT 83, FSU 73
The Hokies scored another come-from-behind ACC win on Saturday, as they defeated Florida State, 83-73, in Cassell Coliseum … Tech trailed by as many as 12 points in the first half, but used a tough defense to come roaring back in the final 12 minutes to secure the win … Seth Allen scored a game-high 23 points to lead five Hokies in double figures … Justin Robinson scored all 13 of his points in the second half, including 10 points in the final four minutes.
Series Against the Eagles
The Eagles lead the all-time series, 18-8 … BC has won the last four meetings, most recently a 66-59 victory in Cassell Coliseum last season … Tech is 1-11 in road games in the series, all being played in the Conte Forum … Tech is 5-12 in games played since the Eagles joined the ACC in the 2005-06 season ... All but one of the 26 previous meetings have come as regular season Big East or ACC games.
The Hot Hands of the Hokies
The Hokies shot 60.9 percent from the floor in the second half and 52.8 percent for the game in the win over Florida State … That is the highest game percentage for the Hokies this season … It is the highest field goal percentage for the Hokies in an ACC game since Tech shot 53.4 percent last season against Duke on Feb. 25, 2015.
Seth’s Big Day
In the win over Florida State on Saturday, Seth Allen had, perhaps, his best game as a Hokie ... The junior transfer from Maryland led all scorers with 23 points, 17 points coming in the second half ... Tech trailed by as many as 12 points in the first half, but Allen’s scoring and rebounding propelled the Hokies to the win ... He was 7-of-11 from the field and 4-of-5 from beyond the arc ... He also grabbed five rebounds and dished out two assists with no turnovers in just 25 minutes of action ... His playing time was cut short, missing six minutes in the second half due to lacerations above and below his left eye.
Clarke Update
Hokie freshman Chris Clarke sprained his left ankle in the first half of the Florida State game and did not return ... He will be reevaluated this week and his status for the Boston College game will be a game time decision ... He returned to the Tech line-up in the loss at UVa after missing the previous 12 games following surgery on his right foot on Dec. 29 … The injury occurred working out during the Christmas break … Clarke was averaging 10.5 points and 7.4 rebounds per game prior to his return.

In the win over Florida State, Justin Robinson scored 13 points, his third consecutive double-figure game ... All 13 points cam in the second half and 10 points came in the final 3:44 of action ... He had a lay-up and back-to-back three-pointers to give Tech a six-point lead and in the final minute, grabbed a big defensive rebound and made both free throws to secure the win ... In the last three games, Robinson has scored in double figures ... He led the team in scoring two of those games ... In the loss at No. 7/7 Virginia, Robinson scored 16 points and made 6-of-7 free throws ... In the loss at No. 11/10 Miami, he scored 12 points, to go along with three assists and a career-high four steals ... The four steals is the most for a Hokies in ACC competition this season and the most by a Hokie in an ACC regular season game since Erick Green had four steals at Florida State on Feb. 16, 2012 (four years and one day).
