Taylor, Bills host Patriots in AFC East battle
Edmunds, Saints set to square off against the Panthers in first-place duel

New England at Buffalo – 1 p.m.
QB Tyrod Taylor, TE Logan Thomas and the Buffalo Bills (6-5) host AFC East rival New England Patriots (9-2) and their No. 1 ranked offense. The Bills are coming off a 16-10 win against the Chiefs. Taylor was 10 of 20 for 183 yards and one touchdown. He also carried the ball nine times for 27 yards. TE Logan Thomas did not have any catches in last week’s matchup.

Carolina at New Orleans – 4:25 p.m.
RB Trey Edmunds and the No. 2 offense of the New Orleans Saints (8-3) take on NFC South foes the Carolina Panthers (8-3) and their No. 2 overall defense. The Saints fell last week to the Rams 26-20, snapping an eight game winning streak. Edmunds recorded one special teams tackle on the day.
San Francisco at Chicago – 1 p.m.
S Antone Exum, Jr. and the San Francisco 49ers travel East to face CB Kyle Fuller and the Chicago Bears. The 49ers are coming off a 24-13 loss against the Seahawks in which Exum tallied three tackles on the day. The Bears lost to the Eagles 31-3. Fuller registered six tackles and one tackle for loss. The duo of Hokies defensive backs were teammates at Tech from 2010-13.
L.A. Rams at Arizona – 4:25 p.m.
Head coach Bruce Arians and the Arizona Cardinals host NFC West rival L.A. Rams and their No. 4 ranked offense. The Cardinals are coming off a last-second 27-24 win against the Jaguars, while the Rams are coming of 26-20 win against the Saints. FB Sam Rogers is a member of the Rams’ practice squad.

Philadelphia at Seattle – 8:30 p.m.
T Duane Brown and the Seattle Seahawks host the Philadelphia Eagles and their No. 3 offense. The Seahawks are coming off a 24-13 win against the 49ers, while the Eagles are coming off a dominating 31-3 win against the Bears. Philadelphia owns an NFL-best 10-1 record, while the Seahawks are in the midst of the NFC West race at 7-4 behind the 8-4 L.A. Rams. S Kam Chancellor will miss the remainder of the season after sustaining a week 10 neck injury. Former Hokies’ S Nick Sorenson serves as the secondary coach for the Seahawks, while alums Eugene Chung and Keith Gray are both on the Eagles’ staff.

Detroit at Baltimore – 1 p.m.
S Chuck Clark and the Baltimore Ravens host the Detroit Lions. The Ravens are coming off a 23-16 Monday Night Football win against the Texans and would hold the sixth seed in the AFC playoffs if the season ended today. Clark did not record any stats in last week’s matchup.
Tampa Bay at Green Bay – 1 p.m.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers travel to the Midwest to face the Green Bay Packers. The Packers are coming off a close 31-28 loss to the Steelers. QB Jerod Evans is a member of the Packers’ practice squad.
Houston at Tennessee – 1 p.m.
The Houston Texans Face AFC South rival Tennessee Titans. The Texans are coming off a 23-16 loss to the Ravens. TE Ryan Malleck is a member of the Texans’ practice squad.
Kansas City at N.Y. Jets – 1 p.m.
The Kansas City Chiefs travel to New York to take on the Jets. The Chiefs are coming off a 16-10 loss to the Bills. LB Dadi Nicolas is on the PUP list for the Chiefs after suffering a ruptured patella tendon in Week 17 of the 2016 season.
N.Y. Giants at Oakland – 4:25
The New York Giants travel to the West Coast to take on the Oakland Raiders. The Giants are coming off a 20-10 loss to the Redskins. T Nick Becton is a member of the Giants’ practice squad.
Cowboys 38, Redskins 14
CB Kendall Fuller and S DeAngelo Hall and the Washington Redskins fell to NFC East rival Dallas Cowboys on Thursday night at AT&T Stadium. Fuller had four tackles on the day as well as a 12-yard kickoff return. Fuller is currently tied for third in NFL with four INTs on the season.
