Clemson game on Sept. 30 is officially sold out

BLACKSBURG – The Virginia Tech Athletics Department announced Wednesday that the Clemson game on Sept. 30 at Lane Stadium is officially sold out. Kickoff time is yet to be determined. Individual game tickets to the Clemson game were made available exclusively to Hokie Club members and season ticket holders. The rematch of the 2016 ACC Championship Game against the defending national champions will serve as the 2017 Maroon Effect game – wear maroon, be loud and show your Hokies’ pride!
Joining the Hokie Club is the best way to support Virginia Tech student-athletes and gain access to exclusive benefits like this in the future. Tech’s 2018 home schedule at Lane Stadium includes the first appearance ever by Notre Dame in Blacksburg, as well as four ACC games and two non-conference contests. Joining the Hokie Club and purchasing season tickets is the only way to guarantee one’s seats for Virginia Tech football at Lane Stadium.

Individual game tickets are available for next Saturday’s first ever clash between Old Dominion and Virginia Tech (Sept. 23). That contest will highlight Hall of Fame weekend, in addition to serving as Military Appreciation Day and the annual White Effect game. Tech also will serve as host to ACC opponents North Carolina (Oct. 21) and Duke (Oct. 28), in addition to Senior Day against Pitt on Nov. 18.

Virginia Tech is currently ranked No. 16 in both the Associated Press Top 25 and the USA Today Amway Coaches Poll. Head coach Justin Fuente and the Hokies are 2-0 heading into Saturday’s game at East Carolina. Tech owns the nation’s longest active bowl streak with 24 straight bowl appearances.
