Q. How late does the Metro run on game day?

Please be aware that the last trains to depart the Morgan Boulevard Metro Station are as follows: Silver line in the direction of Wiehle-Reston: 10:24pm; Blue line in the direction of Franconia-Springfield: 10:31pm. With a scheduled kickoff of 7:30 PM, it is likely the last WMATA trains to depart Morgan Boulevard will do so before the end of the game.

Q. Are tickets still available?
The allocation of tickets reserved for Virginia Tech sales for the game have been sold out. A limited number of tickets are still available through the Redskins via TicketMaster (link).

Q. What time is the game and what time do stadium games open?
Sunday’s kickoff time is set for 7:30 p.m. ET at FedEx Field. Stadium gates open at 5:30 p.m. Virginia Tech Will Call Tickets will be located at Gate E and will open at 4:30 p.m.

Q: Any special events for Sunday’s game?

If you are in the DC area on Saturday before the game there are several activities planned for Spider Kelly’s in Arlington, Va.

Q: Are there any special events on Sunday and what is the halftime entertainment?

Greet the team at 5:30 p.m. between stadium gates B & C. The halftime entertainment will be provided by the Marching Virginians. WVU’s band will take the field for the pregame show.

Q: What should I wear?

Show your Hokie pride by wearing Maroon & Orange. Currently the forecast is for sunny skies, highs in the low 80s before cooling off in the evening, so be prepared with your summer Hokie gear and sunscreen for the day and a Virginia Tech jacket that night.

Q. What weather can we expect for the game?
Sunday’s high temperatures are anticipated in the low 80s and sunny with 8 mph winds from WSW. Sunrise is at approximately 7:08 a.m. and setting at 8:04 p.m. Humidity will be around 64 percent and a 10 percent chance of precipitation during the day. That night lows will be in the low 60s with clear skies and winds from the SW at 5-10 mph. Humidity will be around 79 percent with a 10 percent chance of rain. FedEx Field has adopted several “best practices” that have been implemented at many major collegiate, professional and entertainment venues nationwide. Be sure to bring your clear bags because they are also a requirement for admittance to FedEx Field.
