Tech athletics makes additional ticket inventory available

BLACKSBURG – The Virginia Tech Athletics Department announced Monday that it was making a limited number of individual game tickets available for purchase, starting first with upper-level Hokie Scholarship Fund donors and continuing with remaining Hokie Club members, season ticket holders and the general public.

Starting Wednesday at 10 a.m., Hokie Club members at the Ambassador, Scholarship and Hokie Stone levels can purchase individual game tickets for any home games. Last week, the department made individual game tickets for the Delaware and Old Dominion games available.

In addition, these same members can purchase individual club seats for any remaining games as well. A limited number of club seats remain, and are limited to Hokie Club members at the top three levels. Those interested in buying additional club seats may do so by calling the Virginia Tech Athletics Ticket Office’s either of the two phone numbers (540-231-6731, or 1-800-VATECH4). These are not available for purchase online.

On Thursday at 10 a.m., club seat holders may buy individual club seats for any home games. Again, to purchase individual club seats for any home games, please call the Tech Athletics Ticket Office.

Department officials want to remind fans that no individual game tickets will be available for the Hokies’ game against Clemson, though season tickets remain on sale ($350 per ticket for six home games) and guarantees one’s seat at this game. A season ticket stands as the best value to watch the Hokies this fall, and purchasing one provides such benefits as Hokie Club priority points, seat selection and the same seats for each home game, access to in-game messages on the video board, access to other ticket options prior to the general public, and more.

On Friday at 10 a.m., all remaining Hokie Club members, season ticket holders and club seat holders may buy individual game tickets for any available home game.

On Tuesday, Sept. 5, at 10 a.m., if any seats remain, department officials will make individual game tickets available to the general public.

In addition, the Coastal Division mini plan remains on sale. This mini plan provides a ticket to the Hokies’ three Coastal Division games (North Carolina, Duke and Pittsburgh) for just $180. The Coastal Division mini plan provides better pricing for Tech fans over individual game tickets. Also, mini-plan seats will be in the same location for all three games.
