NFL Hokies ready for second weekend of preseason action

There are three games where NFL Hokies are on both rosters:

  • Thursday, Aug. 17: Chuck Clark, Ryan Malleck and the Baltimore Ravens will face the Miami Dolphins. WR Isaiah Ford is on Miami’s roster but is not expected to play due to injury.
  • Friday, Aug 18: This contest will have a distinct 757 flavor. Antone Exum, Jr., Bucky Hodges and the Minnesota Vikings travel to Seattle to take on Kam Chancellor and the Seahawks.
  • Saturday, Aug. 19: Kyle Fuller and the Chicago Bears will try to get a win in against head coach Bruce Arians, Johnathan McLaughlin and the Arizona Cardinals. Virginia Tech alum Jeff King serves as a scout for the Bears’ staff.

Here are the rest of the weekend’s games featuring Hokies:

  • Thursday, Aug. 17: Logan Thomas, Nigel Williams, and Tyrod Taylor suit up for the Buffalo Bills against the Philadelphia Eagles at 7 p.m. Tech alums Eugene Chung and Keith Gray are both on the Eagles’ staff.
  • Saturday, Aug. 19: Dadi Nicolas and the Kansas City Chiefs face off against the Cincinnati, while Woody Baron and the Dallas Cowboys battle the Indianapolis Colts at 7 p.m.

    At 7:30 p.m., Nick Becton and the Detroit Lions take on the New York Jets. Kyle Fuller and the Washington Redskins take on the Green Bay Packers. Tech alum Torrian Gray is on the Redskins’ staff, while DeAngelo Hall is still rehabbing.

    At 10 p.m., Ken Ekanem and the Denver Broncos take on the San Francisco 49ers. Meanwhile Sam Rogers and the Rams go to Oakland to take on the Raiders.
  • Sunday, Aug. 20: The Hokie trio of Trey Edmunds, Corey Fuller, and Darryl Tapp travel across the country as the Saints square off with the Los Angeles Chargers.
