Multiple NFL Hokies set to kick off the preseason this week
As many as five Hokies could take the field in the matchup between the Vikings and the Bills

BLACKSBURG – Many of Virginia Tech’s players in the NFL returned to the field this week as the preseason got underway:
- Vikings 17, Bills 10: Bucky Hodges, Antone Exum and the Minnesota Vikings got the best of Tyrod Taylor, Logan Thomas, Nigel Williams and the Buffalo Bills. Taylor finished with five completions on eight attempts for 46 yards.
- Ravens 23, Redskins 3: The Washington Redskins’ Kendall Fuller and Vinston Painter fell to Ryan Malleck, Chuck Clark and the Baltimore Ravens. Clark, a sixth-round pick in the 2017 draft, registered a solo tackle and QB hit in the win for Baltimore.
- Broncos 24, Bears 17: Ken Ekanem and the Denver Broncos topped the Chicago Bears and Kyle Fuller, despite Fuller's three solo tackles.
- Browns 20, Saints 14: Trey Edmunds had two carries and long rush of seven yards but the Browns pulled away from New Orleans late.

On Saturday, 2017 graduates Woody Baron and Sam Rogers will face off for the Dallas Cowboys and Los Angeles Rams, respectively, at 9 p.m. while Dadi Nicolas will suit up for the Kansas City Chiefs against the San Francisco 49ers at 9 p.m. on Friday.
Over the weekend, head coach Bruce Arians, Jonathan McLaughlin and Arizona Cardinals will face the Oakland Raiders on Saturday. On Sunday, Nick Becton and the Detroit Lions take on the Indianapolis Colts, and Kam Chancellor and the Seattle Seahawks take on the LA Chargers.
