Lots of Combine buzz on Bucky

We’ve got complete recap of all the results by our Hokies at the NFL Combine here:

The individual who made the most noise in Indianapolis was tight end Bucky Hodges. The Virginia Beach, Virginia native record an 11-feet, 2-inch broad jump, while his 39-inch vertical jump was the best mark by any tight end invited to the event. His 4.57-second 40-yard dash also opened the eyes of many scouts, leading SB Nation to move him up to the No. 23 selection in the first round of the 2017 NFL Draft to the New York Giants.

Freeman mentors wideouts at Combine

Speaking of the NFL Combine, Hokies’ legend and Packers Hall of Famer Antonio Freeman was also in Indianapolis. For the past several years, Freeman has served as a mentor to the latest group of future NFL receivers, including the man who broke his career receiving record at Tech – Isaiah Ford.

Check out this cool interview with Freeman and former Packers center and current broadcaster Larry McCarren.
