Tech visits Boston College for Halloween duel
Both teams come in looking to erase losing streaks

Coming off its first-ever four overtime game, and the first ever for an ACC school as well, Tech will look to end its two-game slide at Boston College, who is in the midst of their own losing streak - five straight. The Hokies' game this Saturday is scheduled for a 12:30 p.m. kick at Alumni Stadium. The game can be seen on the ACC Network (CLICK HERE for channels). Virginia Tech Visits Boston College For an ACC Halloween Duel

  • Virginia Tech is coming off a wild, 45-43 loss in four OTs vs. Duke (10/24). The Hokies ran 100 offensive plays in the contest.
  • The Hokies will visit a Boston College squad that suffered a 17-14 loss at Louisville (10/24). BC ran 52 offensive plays in the game.
  • VT is seeking to snap a two-game losing streak, while BC is hoping to avoid a five-game losing skid for the first time since 2012.
  • Boston College is seeking its first ACC win since a 28-7 victory vs. Syracuse (11/29/14).
  • Tech will face a BC squad that leads the ACC in scoring defense (11.8 ppg), total defense (218.0 ypg) and rush defense (62.8 ypg).
  • Tech’s offense leads the ACC in TD passes (17), while Boston College defense has permitted an ACC-low seven TD throws.
