Virginia Tech travels to East Carolina this weekend looking to extend its win streak to three straight when the Hokies face the Pirates on Saturday. The game will be played in Dowdy-Ficklin Stadium in Greenville, N.C., with a 3:30 p.m. kickoff. The game can be seen on ABC or ESPN2. Tech Travels to East Carolina Seeking A Third Straight Victory, Redemption for 2014 Home Loss

• Virginia Tech is coming off a 51-24 win at Purdue (9/19), while East Carolina suffered a 45-21 loss at Navy (9/19).
• Dating back to 1999, VT owns 17 games with 50+ points with the Purdue contest marking the fifth such game on the road.
• Tech is seeking to avenge last season’s 28-21 home setback vs. East Carolina (9/13/14).
• The Hokies are a combined 19-2 (.905) in the state of North Carolina at the opponent's venue dating back to 1999: 4-0 vs. East Carolina, 5-0 at Duke, 5-1 at North Carolina, 3-1 at Wake Forest and 2-0 at NC State.
• A victory would move VT to 3-1 heading into ACC play with that only loss coming at the hands of No. 1 Ohio State (9/7).

• QB Brenden Motley ranks fourth in the ACC with a 161.7 rating and is ninth in total offense (189.3 ypg).
• P A.J. Hughes ranks ninth in the ACC with a 41.8-yard average and is tied for fourth with seven punts inside the 20.
• S Chuck Clark ranks fifth in the ACC, averaging 9.0 tackles per game. He leads VT with 27 total tackles (15 solo).
• DT Woody Baron is tied for sixth in the ACC with 2.0 sacks and leads the Hokies with 3.5 sacks.
• S Der’Woun Greene had a 82-yard KOR at Purdue (9/19), VT’s longest since WR Demitri Knowles (88 vs. Maryland 11/16/13).
