Hokies in the NFL: Week 1
Tyrod Taylor makes headlines in debut

HIGHLIGHT: Tyrod Taylor made his first NFL start on Sunday for the Buffalo Bills and led the team to a 27-14 win over their AFC rival, the Indianapolis Colts. Taylor went 14-of-19 for 195 yards and a touchdown through the air and added nine rushes for 41 yards. He also had a 51-yard touchdown pass to Percy Harvin.

DeAngelo Hall (Washington): Started and made six total tackles and had a pass deflection before leaving the game with an injury.

Kyshoen Jarrett (Washington): Made NFL debut and recorded one tackle.
