2013: Played in four games … Saw action on 21 offensive plays … Was in on five offensive snaps in the season opener against Alabama … Played 13 snaps on offense against Western Carolina … Earned Iron Hokie honors in summer max testing after posting personal bests in the bench press (400), front squat (400), power clean (340) and push jerk (370).

2012: Played in five games, making two starts at left guard … Was in on 132 offensive snaps … Was in on 17 snaps against Austin Peay, grading out at 82 percent … Saw time on 23 offensive snaps and tallied four knockdowns at Pittsburgh … Was in on 45 plays against Bowling Green and was credited with four knockdowns in his first career start … Also started against Cincinnati … Saw most of his work at center during the spring.

2011: Played in four games, totaling 28 offensive snaps ... Saw his first collegiate action playing nine snaps against Appalachian State ...
