WHY HE CHOSE TECH: “It was always the dream school, growing up in Virginia. It’s always been the powerhouse school in Virginia to watch. I had committed to JMU, but that was when I was about 40 pounds heavier. I didn’t play at the level I’m playing at now, and once I had a great senior year, Tech decided to bring me in in this summer [for a camp and offered him], I had to go.”
